🚀 DNS Transfer Instructions

Once you've selected a plan, follow these steps to point your domain to your new lawn care website.

1. Wait for your site to be ready

We'll email you when your site is live. You'll receive a unique URL like:

https://yourbusiness.lawndev.com

2. Log into your domain registrar

Go to where you bought your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) and find the DNS management section.

3. Update your DNS records

Add or update the following records:

For a main website (www.yourdomain.com):

Type: CNAME
Name: www
Value: yourbusiness.lawndev.com
TTL: 3600 (or default)

To also have yourdomain.com (without www) redirect:

Type: URL Redirect
Name: @
Target: https://www.yourdomain.com

Note: Some registrars call this a "Forwarding" or "Redirect" record.

4. Wait for propagation

DNS changes can take 1‑24 hours to propagate globally. Your site will be accessible at both:

5. SSL certificate (automatic)

We automatically provision an SSL certificate for your domain. Once DNS propagates, your site will be secure with HTTPS.
